Oceans Alive hazard and risk disclosure

Compared to many other Adventure activities, Open Water SCUBA diving is generally considered a low-risk activity. However, it does involve some inherent dangers which you should be aware of.
Diving risks can be significantly reduced through the SSI Training Philosophy – development of proper knowledge, skills, equipment and experience. However, Open Water SCUBA diving has an element of inherent risk that no amount of proper training, care, caution and expertise can eliminate.
Oceans Alive has a current Qualworx certification which shows that our Safety Management System and delivery of the adventure activity Scuba diving (sport) complies with the Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Activities.

Divers must also take personal responsibility for minimizing the risks through good judgement, common sense, respect and personal awareness during all diving activities.
